April 2026 Progress and Plan

It has been more than one year since last progress report. Due to real world businesses and various Free and Open Source related tasks, there wasn’t enough time for me to work on my own projects. I want to tie up some loose ends on the FOSS side before focusing on my own stuff.

KDE Plasma has no mascot wallpaper created by me, I want to provide one that’s more on model of the current design. KDE and Krita mascots lacks proper reference sheet and reusable clip arts, I want to provide a set. Aiming for the end of August 2026.

Original Project Tasks

Electric Hearts and Spirit Animals in Disguise lore rewrites:

• [Done] International Space Cooperation and United Nations related entries
  • Based on my latest understanding of the UN’s current situation, key changes were made: The ISC is now an international consortium of aerospace SMEs — no longer a subsidiary of the UNDP, nor bound by the UN framework or suffered from its problems. ISC sustains itself through production-based businesses and operates on a sound economic foundation.
• [Done] Geocity
  • Reassess whether only one Geocity is allowed to remain operational. No change was made.
• [Done] Snow People and related entries
  • Rename Snow Bandits to Snow People, drop the “thief” label, and substantially expand their description — covering composition and lifestyle — to lay groundwork for future development.
• [Done] Octopass and related entries
  • Rename Octopus.Org to Octopass and expand it from a comically villainous group into a more plausible organization with a complex history. Also, rewrite the Sariel the Spirit Sheep entry accordingly.
• [Done] Class 3 and related entries
  • In response to the new regulations of the China Ministry of Education, the “experimental classes” have been abolished for better educational equity.
• [Done] Bailian the Spirit Mouse and related entries
  • Reassess Bailian’s organization. No change was made.
• [Done] Leiting the Spirit Loong
  • Change from feathers to scales, as a more consistent reptile species.

These adjustments are crucial to the creative direction of the two projects, so they must be resolved ASAP. Aiming for the end of April 2026. During the rewriting process, there may be inconsistencies among contents.
